• Repairing and overhauling jobs on equipment as per the details
described in the job card and as per the procedures given in manuals
and instructions from seniors.
Undertakes routine and non-routine planned maintenance and
repair
• Maintains tools and equipment in optimum condition to prevent
• Collect Daily Job card jobs from Forman.
• Check the job description and take necessary Asst, Mechanics,
Helper and Lifting tools and tackles as required.
• Check and arrange the required spares for that particular job and
make it ready before starting the job.
• Ensures the right procedure and right tools used for the job.
• Take all safety measures before starting the jobs.
• Execute job as per job order, procedures in manuals and
instruction from Mechanical – Forman.
• Properly check the problem in the equipment and rectify the
problem for operation convince.
• Control the Asst, Mechanics and Helpers given for that job and
utilizes them in proper way.
• Ensure that the Asst, Mechanic and Helpers are aware of the
nature of job has to be carrying.
• 10.Check the condition of the removed equipment and inform to
Mechanical – Forman or Mechanical – Engineer.
• Maintain the working table and work area neat and clean and free
from Grease and Oil.
• Make daily work done report and submit to Mechanical – Forman
along with Job description, Time taken, Spares used details.
